The notifications are so annoying!!!! I've got an app that can block notifications by title and have about 10 different ones set up for Gumtree and they're still coming through. I only want to see message notifications! Will be deleting for this very reason as way too intrusive, most other apps you can toggle different categories on or off for notifications. Gumtree just had on or off for all notifications. It bombards you constantly

Stop Datafarming

The latest update has removed most of the search options and replaced them with, what appears to be, a useless Ai categorisation system for items. Search terms return unrelated items, the app ignores location settings and shows unrelated items from hundreds of miles away. Every update has made the app worse. It's made gumtree difficult and frustrating to use and I suspect that's why nobody is using it. There's now hardly any views and nothing is selling.

Just deleted the app. Been trying to sell on there for a few months and all I got was a few no shows waisting my time. I also really didn't like that I couldn't chose what kind of notifications I wanted. I needed notifications for messages, but didn't want product recommendations or any type of promo. But it is all or nothing. So I chose nothing and got rid of it.
