WhatsApp is in general good but has some disadvantages. Firstly, it automatically deleted messages I try to send many times and does not let me edit messages when I typed something wrong, showing a completely different message. Apart from that, it has a feature which lets you post things happening with music on it. The voice recordings are high quality and there isn't much delay ( apart from whenever I try to edit a message) Overall, very good

It's very annoying that you can't change the icons for contacts, you're stuck with whatever ridiculous one they choose. Also the timestamp against each message is the time that it landed on the phone, not the time it was sent, which is totally useless when they've been off-grid for a while. It's like it's been developed by children, but the actual messaging and telephony side of it works well and doesn't seem to hit the battery too much.

was simple and worked 100% but..... since it's now being run by you know who, it's getting annoying to use. I can type out a message, attach a picture and send it only to find out it's only sent the picture and all the text has gone! Another point is the way they keep tinkering with the app and trying to make it do more/ be something else to what it originally was. why change something that's not broke and turn it into what everything else is. The notifications of new features is a pain

What’s new
• You can now choose to share recent group history with new members when you add them to a group • Group calls now include the ability to transfer calls between mobile and desktop, add a waiting room for call links, and pin a participant to a bigger tile.
These features will roll out over the coming weeks. Thanks for using WhatsApp!
